Our Story

    

Hi, I'm Teresa, the founder of Candlelight Cottage and this is Chuck, my extraordinary partner. We met 40 years ago and reconnected in 2023 and have been making eachother better ever since. We love making new memories doing things that make us feel alive. Making candles bringing scents from our adventures is what we do in our downtime.

Making custom-scents is a way to capture the feelings, memories, and moments that make a house feel like home. Some are inspired by cherished memories, others by places I've loved, and many by the simple joys of everyday life.

We've always been drawn to the small things that stay with us: the scent of mulled cider at a fall festival, fresh coffee on a quiet morning, summer berries picked at dusk, or the glow of a lantern during an evening spent with people you love. Those moments often pass quickly, but fragrance has a remarkable way of bringing them back.

Every Candlelight Cottage fragrance begins with a story. Each candle is hand-poured in Colorado and thoughtfully crafted to create an experience—not just a scent.

Today, Candlelight Cottage is built around three collections:

• The Lantern Collection celebrates comfort, connection, and treasured memories.
• The Shimmer Collection captures sunshine, celebration, and carefree adventures.
• The Moonbeam Collection invites wonder, imagination, and a touch of magic.
